How pricing works

We don't print prices, because color isn't priced off a list. Here is what sets yours.

  • What decides the price

Your price follows the length and thickness of your hair, how much lightening it needs, how many steps the plan has and the time it takes. Reds add one more thing: the gloss visits that keep the shade bright, which we plan with you.

    • Length and thickness

    • How much lightening

    • Steps in the plan

    • Gloss visits between color days

  • What the consultation covers

Every color service starts with a consultation: your hair, your color history and photos of the red you want. You leave with a plan, a visit schedule counted in weeks and a colorist. Ask when you book whether your consultation is charged and whether it counts toward your service.

    • Your hair and color history

    • Photos of the red you want

    • A visit schedule in weeks

  • Cherise, the lead colorist, takes the consultations and the most involved plans. Sohee takes gloss visits, root color and everyday copper. Your consultation tells you which level the plan needs and what it means for the price, and you can ask for another.

    • Level 3: lead colorist

    • Level 2: colorist

  • Deposits

Longer services (all-over color, highlights, going red and corrections) take a deposit to hold the time. The menu marks each one, and the deposit goes toward your service.

  • Canceling or running late

We ask for 48 hours' notice to move or cancel a color appointment, because the colorist's day is set aside for you. If you are running late, call us and we will see whether the plan still fits.

  • Add-ons and changes on the day

A gloss visit can be added to a color day or booked on its own between color days. Your colorist tells you what it adds in time and price before anything is mixed, and you say yes first.

Levels

Two levels, one team

The level sets part of your price. It says nothing about how much we care about your hair.

  • Level 2

    Colorist

Gloss visits, root color and everyday copper, with Sohee Koo.

  • Level 3

    Lead colorist

Corrections, going red and the most involved plans, and the consultation for new clients, with Cherise Forbes.

Start with a consultation

Tell us the red you want and what your hair has been through, and we will build the plan and the weeks.
