Color

Reds and coppers

The shade you chose, mixed for your hair and planned for the weeks after.

Red and copper are mixed by hand, in a formula written down for your next visit. We color all over, at the roots or in woven and painted copper through brown and blonde, then finish with a gloss. Your colorist agrees the shade and the weeks between visits with you. Results vary with your hair and its history.

What to expect

  • Two to three hours for all-over color

  • A deposit holds the time on longer services

  • A gloss to finish and a schedule in weeks

Questions about this service

How do you choose between copper and ginger?

Copper is warmer and more orange-red, ginger is softer and gold. We hold swatches against your skin and your photos at the consultation and choose together.

Will my red match my roots?

That depends on your natural color. Your colorist plans the roots and the lengths together, and tells you how often the roots will need color.

Can I add copper to brown hair without going all over?

Yes. Copper highlights and lived-in copper add the warmth to brown hair without a full change, and they grow out softly.
